 Huldresølv AS was founded in Porsgrunn Norway in 1994. Design inspiration comes from both early work of Norwegian goldsmiths and modern trends. Norwegian legend tells us that Huldre silver or Huldresølv was created by wood nymphs who adorned themselves with the most precious silver, particularly brides. If the wood nymphs gave you silver in return for a favor you had done for them or came by it by other honest means, it brought happiness and stayed with the family for generations.
